‘Accumulation’ photo exhibition underway at Tehran gallery

Tehran hosts a group photo exhibition dubbed ‘Accumulation’ at Silk Road Gallery.

The exhibition is underway and the pictures of Salome Souzanchi, Samira Davarfara, Sahar Mokhtari, Farzin Foroutan and Armin Abdi are on display at the gallery.

‘Accumulation’ is the second cooperation of the five artists. Titled ‘Inhale’, the first one was based on random images.

Idea of the collection was created by searching thousands of pictures of daily life that exist in different media, and selecting one as a source for the tens of images created; the different media presents a large variety of pictures which intentionally or incidentally are recorded in people’s visual memory and influence them, said an introduction to the exhibit.
